About Us

We love being creative and making works of art... while avidly avoiding anything boring, stale or cookie-cutter. Implimenting on-location photography and natural light, we specialize in Fashion Editorial, Pinup, Artistic and Emotive Portraits.

Our passion is being able to bring our imaginations to life. Our dream client is one that allows us complete creative freedom. After spending countless hours planning every detail of your session, every finished image is meticulously edited.

Yellow Bubbles is a team of two quirky sisters with refined skills in photography, graphic design, jewelry design, costume, wardrobe, styling, and props. We utilize all these attributes to aid you in achieving contemporary and unique images.

Our staff skills include MuA, Stylist, Creative Director, Editing and Lighting Specialist, and Posing Assistance.

FAQ

Can you travel to my location?Yes! I will travel within Alameda county/East Bay Area for no additional charge. If you need us to come to your location there is a travel fee of $35/hr.Can I do a Themed Photoshoot?Yes! For $50 per look we can make your shoot into an Artistic session! We will try to make your or our vision come to life... sometimes with research, editing, props, location, custom pieces, or purchased items. We come up with a "storyboard" to make your shoot interesting and unique. We also assist in posing and getting that perfect modelesque look. Your shoot can be completely customized by adding makeup and hair. All images are completely retouched. Do you have a studio?No I don't. I prefer to shoot on location using natural/available light. If your shoot requires a studio, I can make arrangements for you. Can I have all the photos from our session?You can purchase more images for an additional fee. They will all be color corrected and/or retouched. Do you provide wardrobe or makeup artist?I only provide wardrobe when it is a personal theme shoot or you are a model and a designer has provided me with clothing for a shoot. Otherwise, you will be expected to bring your own wardrobe. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance. Our stylist can provide you with wardrobe for $50 per look. For a $40 fee, you can use our in-house makeup artist.What format do you provide the photos in?All of your images will be available for download in jpeg format through your online digital gallery. You can print your high resolution images through your gallery and download medium resolution files for personal use. For a fee of $20 I will burn your edited images onto CD.Can I have raw files?Sorry, I do not give out raw or untouched photos. What is the turnaround time?I can usually have all edited best shots available in a private online gallery within 1-2 weeks after shoot depending on my workload and the amount of images in your package. For our Premium Package allow at least 3-4 weeks.How do I make a payment?You can make your secure, non-refundable deposit by clicking the PayPal button on the Client Page. The remaining balance can be paid using the same method, or by cash/check/charge when you arrive for your shoot.What is your cancellation policy?After 48 hours of booking your photography session, there is no refund of your deposit or any monies paid. Some sessions can be rescheduled depending on timing and the type of session. If we have already started purchasing or creating items for your shoot, your rescheduled shoot must be the same theme, otherwise the amount spent will be subtracted from the amount you paid. If you need to cancel/reschedule please give us at least 1 weeks notice. Only one free rescheduling allowed. Additional reschedules will incurr a $50 fee. Contact me for more information or our wedding policy.
